The coffee bar sits at the front of the shop, on the public side of the glass, so you can come in for an espresso or a bag of beans without booking the lounge. We pull shots on a two-group machine with beans roasted in small batches by a Winnipeg roaster, and we treat oat milk as the default rather than the upgrade.
The bake case is filled every morning: morning buns, sourdough for toast, a rotating loaf cake and our cat-paw shortbread, which we will admit exists mainly for photos. Most of it is gone by two, so come early.
Take-away cups are compostable and we happily fill whatever mug you bring. Beans and gift cards are sold at the counter.
