August was busy. Clementine, Otis and Pancake all went home in the same fortnight, which is wonderful and also means the lounge felt strangely quiet for a few days. We are happy to report that the quiet did not last.
Maple and Waffles arrived from Prairie Paws at the start of the month. They are a year old, bonded, and will go home together. Maple is the ringleader, a tiny tortoiseshell with a full set of opinions; Waffles follows her around and gets the credit. If you visit the afternoon slots you will meet them within seconds.
Juniper, our quiet black shorthair, is pending adoption after four months here. Her adopter visited five times before applying, which is exactly how we like it. Toffee, the senior gentleman on the sunny bench, is still waiting for the right retirement home. He needs a heated bed, a lap and not much else.
Pierogi, Miso and Nimbus remain available and remain themselves. Biscuit is not going anywhere. Come and say hello.
